1 Year anniversary! (+Remade Great-father Winter)

WoW I just realized I've been doing this blog for a year now. In that time I've uploaded 45 custom Heartstone cards, had 1340 pageviews and had a total of 1 comment! What a lovely community has this become (I mean that the one person that commented was really nice). That means 100% positive feedback! :D Yeey!

I really think Blizzard is doing a great job with Hearthstone. Love their mechanics and I really like that they did tribal-like expansions such as Goblin's vs. Gnomes and the Dragons, Elementals and Dragonkin from BRM. Besides that I've seen several mechanics that I had hoped for appear in these expansions (such as simmilarity between Drunken Brewmasters & Ogre Brute or the similarity of Summon portal and Unstable Portal or Recombobulator). Ofcourse they are really not the same cards, but to me this shows that I'm thinking in the right direction. Now, if only they would add Father Winter as a minion, I would be happy :D. 

So for this anniversary I recreated my old Father Winter card. This version has a bit different Oracle tekst, the name has been changed to the correct (full) naming. Besides that I changed it from giving a present to your opponent to giving a present to both players (just like E.T.C does). That was the card does at least something useful for yourself :D. I hope to create some more cards in the near future. Ofcourse it's not planned on a schedule or anything. Just whenever I'm on the road and an idea comes to my mind, I will try to shape it into a Hearthstone card. I'm looking forward to a new year full of custom cards!
