Spirits suck... your mana

Elusive Banshee (custom Hearthstone card)
So there is this one card I really like in Hearthstone called Mana Wraith. The reason I love it, is because it is such a unique way to win. It gives the game a twist, which might give you an edge on the battlefield. That is, if you own another cheap minion and your opponent doesn't. I would like to see more of this minion, but it sadly isn't that great.

So I came up with the idea to have a minion that gets stronger with each mana spend to cast it. Because who would want that, right? No one expect for me and my crazy ideas. But take a moment to think about it. This card would make so many other cards / abilitites more useful:

Elusive Banshee = 2/3 for 2 mana.
With Mana Wraith = 3/4 for 3 mana.
With Chieftain Scarvash = 4/5 for 4 mana.
With Naga Sea Witch = 5/6 for 5 mana.
With Venture Co. Mercenary = 5/6 for 5 mana

This card also makes Piloted Shredder a tiny bit weaker. Making it possible for the player to get the 0/1 Stealth minion blocking a slot on his side of the board. That is, unless the player can buff it of course.

Anyway I like this idea. I hope you guys like it too. Let me know what you think of it!

Changing the odds

Ogre Mathematicians 1 (custom Hearthstone card)What if Ogre's could actually count? Well, they would know they are two persons and deserve to be treated that way. Look at Cho'Gall (HotS). He knows it! We have been treating our Ogre's poorly these last decades and times have to change.

So here I present what would happen if a Two-Headed-Ogre would be aware of his rights. All spells that give a random effect would have to treat them as two minions. Why? Because it's only fair. Do we like it? Well, no :) But in all truth; Two-Headed-Ogres have been discriminated for years! They have less chances to survive a Brawl, less change to get free buffs and only get one present at Christmas ;/ That's not fair!

Of course it wasn't a serious design, but I do like the fact that the ability has big advantages and disadvantages. Let me know what you think of the card.
Ogre Mathematicians 2 (custom Hearthstone card)

Btw: I actualy meant this card to be a neutral one, but I made a boo boo with the art, and then another one with the class... Here's my first version.

Savage Raptor

Savage Raptor (custom Hearthstone card)So there is this Magic card I really like which is called Relenthless Rats. This card features a group of rats which become stronger for each other copy you have in play. Ofcourse, you can have any amount of these rats in your deck. I wanted to do something simmilar. Something that hunts in packs and work together to take down their pray. But what could that be? Oh right, Jurassic World is coming out soon. Raptors ofcourse!

Unlike the Relenthless rats I didn't want to change how Hearthstone works. So therefor your can only have two copies of each card in your deck. With the exception of Arena battles ofcourse. This means the card should be decent with only 1 other copy in the deck (or hand). That why I first chose it to be a 2/2 that becomes a 3/2 the first time you play it. That would mean it similar to the Razorfen Raptor that's currently in the game. However, it would be slightly weaker since the second copy would be a regular 2/2 minion.
This is why I changed the stats to those of a 2/3 minion; Meaning that the first raptor will be a 3/3 which is a really good 2 drop. Maybe even too good. Let mek now what you guys think of that.

The fun part of this card (well if your playing it) is when you combine it with an Ambush. This rogue spell shuffles three additional copies in your deck; Making the raptor a 6/3 on turn 3. I do think this is a bit quick, but a Bloodknight combined with a Shielded minibot gives you a 6/6 minion on turn 3. So it shouldn't be that overpowered right? I have considered to make the abilitry a Battlecry buff. This means only the second raptor will be stronger than the first one. And now I think of it, that way if FAR better flavorwise. Look at what we've learned for Jurassic Park. It's always the second raptor that get's you!

So I really like the card (otherwise I wouldn't have placed it here), but I'm still thinking what option would be better. Probably a Battlecry ability. Let me know what your toughts are by leaving a comment below.
